DR. Varma is a senior consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeon and specializes in the surgical treatment of diseases of  the organs in the chest (heart, lungs, major airways, major blood vessels, esophagus (food pipe), thymus glands and the mediatinum. He has a post qualification experience of 28+ years in the field of heart and lung surgery and 37+years  in the field of medicineDr. Varma earned his basic medical qualification (MBBS), postgraduate qualification in general surgery (MS) and super speciality qualification (in Cardiothoracic surgery) form the National Board of Examination, New Delhi, india. He also went on to earn the FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh.
