In recent times, the diseases of Ear, Nose, and Throat have been considered to be of increased significance due to the increased incidence of diseases and the introduction of novel ways to treat them. At MCH the ENT Department is manned by well-qualified and experienced professionals and is equipped with all modern equipments required to diagnose and treat the full gamut of diseases related to Ear, Nose, and Throat. 

Scope of Service
  •  Microsurgery of the ear including stapes surgery, ossiculoplasty, combined approach tympanoplasty, and cholesteatoma surgery.
  •  Petrosectomy and radical excision of the temporal bone.
  •  Endoscopic surgery of paranasal sinuses and relative structures including pituitary surgery and repair of CSF leaks.
  •  Diagnostic endoscopy of nose, Laryngoscopy, Bronchoscopy and esophagoscopy.
  •  The base of skull surgeries by both endoscopic and external approaches.
  •  Head and neck surgeries like excision of Thyroid and salivary gland tumors.
  •  Surgery of malignancies in the upper aerodigestive tract including voice-preserving laryngeal procedures.
  •  Laryngeal framework surgeries for voice disorders.
  •  Micro Laryngeal procedures.
  •  Reconstructive surgery for microtia and other congenital defects of the external ear.
  •  Corrective surgery for laryngotracheal stenosis.
  •  Surgical treatment for snoring and sleep apnea.
  •  Facial nerve decompression and nerve grafting.
  •  Endoscopic decompression of the eye globe and optic nerve.
  •  Management of choanal atresia and cleft palate.
  • Reconstructive surgery for microtia and other congenital defects of the external ear.
  •  Corrective surgery for laryngotracheal stenosis.
  •  Surgical treatment for snoring and sleep apnea.
  •  Facial nerve decompression and nerve grafting.
  •  Endoscopic decompression of the eye globe and optic nerve.
  •  Management of choanal atresia and cleft palate.
